VAT/GST on Maple?
Believe it or not, it will soon be implemented. MapleStory will soon be implementing a mesos Tax system on player-to-player trading. This is done for the benefit of the game economy. MapleGlobal had indicated and explained clearly about the move and benefits.

I seriously think that tax should not be implemented..this will only make the price go even higher. Arrgh, I just hate tax.

hm...actually maplestory IS a game that's wai you cannot escape from its taxes. No such thing as tax evasion bro....no such thing. So it's more and more like an ideal virtual playground for you to start your own story....pretty cool!

My account just got hacked yesterday, 6/4/06. She was a level 41 Ice/Lit mage, IGN Kiere. Around that same time, someone posted on the forums "Selling level 41 Ice/Lit Mage", Forum name Hannah. She mentioned that the account had screwed up stats and skills, my Kiere has 8 str, 9 dex and around 12 points in her energy bolt, leaving quite little for magic guard. The thread was warned then deleted by Lumiere. Is there any way I can check if there is a connection between these two incidents? Even so, what should I do now? It's so.. strange losing everything in one day. Kinda makes me feel lost T__T What would reporting to the Maple Admin do?

u can drop a visit to the centre at funan and prove with ur NRIC that u're the real owner and reset the password.

Hello. Just like to suggest somethings to contribute to the maple community. Nowadays, selling messos for sgd are widely spread among the maplers. Some of the innocent buyers even get scammed because of this. Here's a little suggestion, to you moderators: Messos can be sold in the cash shop. In other words, using A-cash to buy messos. Messos can be sold like for example, 1 million messos for 5000A-cash etc. Wouldn't it be better for those who deperately needs messos? In this way, not only the asiasoft earns, but also the rate of being "deceive" by those heartless scammers will drop. As a result, there will be less cash sellers around, as the purpose of those cash sellers is to earn messos, by doing this, instead of selling cash, they will definitely buy messos from the cash shop. Hope this suggestion will be recognised!
